From the South: Turn off the A1 north of Newcastle on to the A697 to Coldstream. Continue on this road through Longhorsley and Longframlington to Powburn. After Powhurn turn left between two rows of cottages signed Brandon, Ingram, Linhope. Follow this road for 3 miles, over a large wrought iron bridge. Follow the road round to the right and we are the first gate on the right.

From the North: Take the A697 through Coldstream, Millfield and Wooler. Continue for about 7 miles until the turning to the right to Brandon, Ingram, Linhope. Over the large wrought iron bridge as mentioned above.

We are a non-smoking household.

Ingram House was originally the farmhouse. It was built in the 18th century as a two up, two down traditional house. Over the years incumbents have added bits - the latest work to be done was when we moved here in 2003 when we converted some outhouses into a Granny annex.

The garden has been our major project. It was very overgrown and wild when we arrived and, although we are by no means finished, we hope we have restored some of what was here and added a few new bits. As with every garden this is an ongoing project with an ever moving 10 year plan!

Our rooms are traditionally furnished and comfortable. Both have their own bathroom. In each room is a television and hospitality tray. Breakfast is taken in the family dining room which is part of our huge kitchen. Food is sourced locally where possible.

We have cats and dogs (and rabbits) so I am afraid we can only welcome one well behaved dog who does not mind sleeping in your car. Please talk to us about this when you ring.

Arrival time is between 4.30pm and 6.30pm unless previously arranged and rooms must be vacated by 10.30am on your day of departure.

We offer one double room and one twin room, both ensuite.
